After 70 years, the British Army has said its farewell to Fallingbostel in Northern Germany, where the UK has had troops based since the end of the Second World War.
1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards, meanwhile, have also said farewell to the country, which has played host to them for more than 40 years. They took part in tours of both Iraq and Afghanistan from their base in Sennelager.
The regiment are returning to the UK in the next few months to settle into their new home in Swanton Morley in Norfolk.
